Due to our growing business in our corporate headquarters, Banner Life has immediate openings in our Administrative Department for Licensing Specialist.
Principal responsibilities include administering all agency/licensing processes, including but not limited to, LP master/hierarchy setup, appointments, state renewals, transfers and assignment of commissions, in a timely and accurate manner. Act as a liaison between the Home Office and General Agents to facilitate the appointment/contracting process. Act as a liaison between the Home Office and the state insurance departments with regard to regulatory issues for appointments and renewals, reviewing information on the insurance applications for accuracy and process policy issue and reissues. Interpret, summarize and enter client medical history into system with 99% accuracy. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, organized, energetic, extremely detail orientated and team players. Candidates must have the aptitude to work in a fast paced production environment. Minimum requirements: one-year office experience, keyboard skills of 40 WPM, high school diploma or equivalent and a strong customer service background is preferred. Hours are 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and must have the flexibility to work overtime to meet business needs.
